Welcome to Blissed-out Yoga, a sanctuary for your mind, body, and spirit!
Established in 2015 amidst the tranquil landscapes of Glastonbury, the heart 💖of the UK, Blissed-out Yoga has been on a mission to foster a vibrant Yoga community and cultivate inner peace. We are thrilled to announce that we have expanded our horizons and are now delighted to serve the beautiful cities of Lewes and Hove.
Our classes are designed with the western audience in mind, combining the ancient wisdom of Yoga with a touch of modern flair. We understand that life can be fast-paced and demanding, so we strive to create a friendly and inclusive environment where you can unwind, rejuvenate, and have some fun along the way.
Whether you are seeking relief from physical discomfort or simply aiming to enhance your overall well-being, our dedicated instructors are here to guide you every step of the way. Each class offers a balance of dynamic exercise to relaxation and flexibility that invigorate your body and mind. You might want to start on the mat and progress to Aerial yoga.
At Blissed-out Yoga, we believe in the holistic nature of Yoga. It’s not just about the poses; it’s about finding balance, peace, and a deeper connection within yourself, not over-talking in the classes. We also offer Treat days, where we spend time exploring aspects of yoga in a deeper way and teacher trainings in Aerial Yoga and coming for 2024 is our 200 hour course.

Lewes Tai Chi
(School of Central Equilibrium)
37 Step Yang Style Tai Chi
Beginners, Improvers & Push Hands
We initially teach Tai Chi Qigong and the 37 Step form of Cheng Man-Ching as refined by Huang Sheng-Shyan and taught to me by his last “live-in” student Wee Kee-Jin.

Please call Esaias if you have any further questions about how and where to start: 07477 865 874.
The Tai Chi form is comprised of 37 steps or movements and is divided into four sections, however as some of the movements are repeated we actually perform 49. We teach each section in 3 parts that each take around 10 weeks complete.
We have found that the most effective way for students to learn Tai Chi is to begin by training the form as set of external movements where accuracy is emphasised. Once comfortable with the external movements students then learn how to apply Tai Chi principles into the movement, which is what makes Tai Chi an internal art. Finally as the student begins to become aware and more immersed in the movements of the Tai Chi form, the training goes deeper where the emphasis is on becoming fully relaxed and synchronised practicing the Tai Chi form as one connected flow. This then allows students to produce the relaxed force (fajin); the secret power of Tai Chi.
It is a gradual process but the benefits begin immediately by starting to create balance and harmony, breaking down tension and stress, creating a sense of equilibrium.

Since I discovered the wonderful teachings of Vanda Scaravelli I have been passionate about sharing the liberating and empowering practise of Yoga. My teacher Diane Long is an exquisite example of Vanda’s teachings in action, and watching her practise, or indeed teach, has given me insights into the ancient principles that Yoga is truly about being “in the present moment”.
Classes are an opportunity for us to explore classical asanas in a lighthearted way, finding our own “un-doing” and giving each person the opportunity to find their own experience of the postures.
All levels are welcome!
